Watch: Charlotte Flair dances on Bhangra beats, gets lessons from Varun Dhawan

Mumbai: On November 14, WWE superstar Charlotte Flair visited India to celebrate the occasion of Children’s Day with kids from Special Olympics Bharat. During her three day tour, the WWE star made sure that she enjoyed to the fullest during the entire three days.

In a video shared by the former WWE SmackDown Women’s champion, she could be seen dancing to the tunes of Bhangra, with instructions provided by India’s famous Video Jockey, Gaelyn Mendonca.

 

On November 15, the 10-time WWE Champion also met with India’s famous Bollywood actor Varun Dhawan, who tempted her to groove the beats of Desi tunes.

Following the dancing lessons, Flair tweeted, thanking the Bollywood star for getting her ready for her Bollywood entry and said, “Not quite salsa lessons instead learning some Bollywood dance moves .. thank you @Varun_dvn getting me Bollywood ready!  #Mumbai #India.”

 

Following her post, the Badlapur actor also replied, “Such a pleasure meeting u Charlotte. You truly are a queen.”

After Flair returned back to US, she posted an emotional tweet stating that she has fallen in love with India, and was surprised by the kindness shown towards her by the WWE Indian fans.

Flair tweeted, “I have fallen in love with India. I could feel the strong sense of family, the love for celebration and the people’s generosity. Thank you to everyone who made my visit special; the cuisine, Bollywood dancing and learning to drape my own saree. I will have these memories forever.”

Meanwhile, on the work front, WWE has stated that Flair will pair with WWE Raw Women’s Champion Becky Lynch in the next show of Monday Night Raw. Their opponents are still unannounced.

However, the match gives Flair the opportunity to be the second wrestler to have won the Women’s Grand Slam, after having captured the WWE Raw Women’s Title, SmackDown Women’s Championship, NXT Women’s Title and WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship.
