Sprinter Tyson Gay's daughter shot dies in Kentucky shootout

Two persons of interest are being questioned as their vehicles match the description of the two vehicles that were involved in the shooting.

Kentucky: US track and field athlete Tyson Gay’s daughter Trinity Gay has been killed after being fatally shot at a restaurant in Kentucky, USA.

The 15-year-old, who herself was considered as a rising track and field star was caught in the cross-firing between two vehicles, according to reports. The reports suggest that Gay was not in either of the cars, but was an innocent bystander near the restaurant, when the incident took place.

Two persons of interest are being questioned, as their vehicles match the description of the two vehicles that were involved in the shooting.

Like her father, Trinity was also a sprinter in the 100m and the 200m categories, at Lafayette High School. Tyson, 34, is a celebrated track and field sprinter, who has participated in the 400m relay races at the 2012 and the 2016 Olympics.
