Fans were treated to a high quality game at the Gachibowli Stadium that was rocking on Saturday night.

For the World 7, ‘Sultan’ Fazel Atrachali and South Korean raider Jang Kun Lee set the tone. For India 7, ‘Hi Flyer’ Pawan Sehrawat hogged the spotlight and played true to his nickname.

As the second half started, a different World 7 came to the mat and displayed some good defensive and offensive performances by Fazal Atrachali and PKL debutant, Nabibaksh.

‘Iceman’ Ajay Thakur made sure that the World 7’s score didn’t sneak too close by scoring consistent raid points.

Jang Kun Lee got danger man Ajay Thakur and Girish Ernak in a 25th minute do-or-die raid for World 7 as they pulled ahead 23-19.

The game took a surprising turn during the final three minutes. The 39th minute all out by Mohammad Nabibaksh saw him take Girish Ernak and Nitesh Kumar out besides taking the lead at the dying moments of the match to make it 30-32 before it finally finished 33-32 for the World side.
