Thiruvananthapuram retained the men's and women's title of 63rd senior state basketball championship at Athirampuzha. In the women's final, the team from the capital defeated Kollam 81-66 while it was a 63-50 win for their men's team against Thrissur in the other final.
Stephy Nixon marked her return to state championship with a game-high 30 points while Anjanna P.G. made 25 points for Thiruvananthapuram.
