It's video games for Ronda Rousey
Ronda Rousey is back in the public eye as she prepares to face women’s bantamweight champion Amanda Nunes at UFC 207 on Dec. 30. More than a year out from her last fight, when she lost the title to Holly Holm in a shocking upset, Rousey said she’s doing things differently this time around. Mainly, she said, she’s not planning on talking as much trash about her opponents.
“Now that I know the women’s division is secure, I don’t have to do that anymore. I choose not to,” she told Conan O’Brien via Fox Sports. “It’s not something I really get a kick off of like, ‘Ooh, I want to spend 12 hours at ESPN and talk [crap] all day.’ That’s not really what I’d want to do.” “I want to go play World of Warcraft,” she said, noting that the game, in which she is actually a character, led to a fast friendship between her and Vin Diesel on the set of “Furious 7.”
