Floyd Mayweather was ringside to cheer his protege Gervonta Davis to victory — but it was his choice of footwear that stole the show, The Sun reported. The retired boxer is well-known for his flamboyance — and his red knee-length boots that look spectacularly fitted.

Unsurprisingly, the world of social media revelled in his clobber. One person on Twitter wondered why Mayweather had “got on those horse trainer boots.”

Reggie Daigle wrote that the 41-year-old “looks like he is going shrimping.” Many commented that he “looks like a jockey,” with Kornelios adding that “these boots catch me off guard every time.”
