UFC star Conor McGregor took a few shots at WWE, saying that, for the most part, WWE guys are “p***ies.” McGregor made it clear that he’s a fan of Vince McMahon, Triple H, and The Rock, but he also made it clear that he wasn’t a fan of Brock Lesnar or CM Punk.
Of course, you could make an argument that McGregor has stolen his entire gimmick from professional wrestling, as he’s often been called the UFC’s version of Ric Flair.
There have also been rumours that he would eventually show up at a future WrestleMania much like fellow UFC star Ronda Rousey did last year, but his comments about the “sports-entertainment” industry suggest otherwise.
The “other guy” that McGregor was talking about is former WWE World Heavyweight Champion CM Punk, who is currently scheduled to make his UFC debut against the undefeated Mickey Gall at next month’s UFC 203.
There have been some WWE stars who have responded to McGregor’s comments, with the most noteworthy of them all being Chris Jericho’s response.
