Deccanchronicle.com on July 31 published a story titled ‘Javelin thrower Amit Kumar Saroha tests positive, suspended by AFI’.
The story was about another javelin thrower called Amit Kumar. The photo of Amit Kumar Saroha was wrongly published with the story on our site.
The error is deeply regretted.
Both the headline and the photo were corrected within a few hours. The story was subsequently taken down too. A request has been sent to Google to revise its cache.
