Sporting world pays condolences to Jayalalithaa

Mumbai: Former Tamil Nadu chief minister J Jayalalithaa died on Monday at the Apollo hospital in Chennai, nearly three months after she was admitted there.
Jayalalithaa, popularly know as ‘Amma’ in Tamil Nadu died at 68, she breathed her last at 11:30 PM.
In a statement, Apollo Hospitals said, “It is with indescribable grief we announce the sad demise of our esteemed honourable chief minister of Tamil Nadu Puratchithalavi Amma at 11.30pm today.”
Condolences poured in from sporting world after the confirmation of the news.
