Mumbai: Whenever ‘Stone Cold Steve Austin’ enters the squared circle, a sense of fear gets instilled inside the ring occupying wrestlers. Stone Cold, who is a fearless, ruthless and neutral minded wrestles doesn’t need any invitation to stun. And, the stunned person could be anyone – the ring occupying wrestler, special guests like Donald Trump or any other celebrity.
However, the WWE universe does miss the ‘rattlesnake’s fear instilling speeches, beer moments, and his special move – Stone Cold Stunner”.
Whenever Stone Cold enters the ring, he would enjoy few moments with the in-ring wrestler, ask for a beer drinking session, and lastly he would stun the wrestler with his signature move “Stone Cold Stunner” before leaving the ring.
Recently, a video has gone viral on the social media, in the video the former WWE superstar can be seen asking WWE Raw Women’s Champion Becky Lynch to have a beer drinking session with the WWE Hall of Famer. ‘The Man’ accepted the invitation but in the end the ‘Irish Lass-kicker’ stunned the Stone Cold with his own move.
In an episode of “Straight Up Steve Austin”, the six-time WWE World Champion, who was the host for the show, invited Becky Lynch for a round of beers inside the ring, but in the end Austin got stunned.
In the video, Austin can be seen asking Becky if she wanted to drink beer with the retired WWE superstar. “You know, there’s one other question I’d like to ask you. Do you want to drink a beer with me?” Austin asked ‘The Man’.
Lynch accepted the invitation after some initial hesitation, and stated that she was “feeling a thirsty”, only to stun Austin with his special move in the end. “Does The Man want to drink a beer with the Stone Cold Steve Austin? I’m, feeling a little thirsty, yeah. Yeah, I’ll have a beer with Stone Cold,” Lynch replied.
After she accepted the invitation Stone Cold passed on the beer to Women’s Champion and both drank from their cans. Immediately afterwards Lynch stunned Stone Cold with a “Stunner” and said, “That’s what happens when The Man comes around.”
Recently, the six-time WWE Champions was inducted into the 2009 Class of WWE Hall of Fame, after an impressive career that saw him reach the perch of glory in WWE.
During his historic career, Stone Cold had won the Intercontinental Championship twice, tag-team titles four times, and also won the King of the Ring tournament in 1996. Austin remains the only WWE wrestler in the industry to have won the Royal Rumble thrice.
Despite the video being a promotional stunt, a WWE fan can wonder how perfectly Lynch pulled off that move. Maybe, Becky Lynch can include this move in her stock?...
