Delhi Public School (Nacharam) and DPS (Hyderabad) sailed into the semifinals of the inter-DPS society basketball tournament for boys being hosted by DPS (Nacharam) in the city.
In the quarterfinals of the 14-team tournament featuring 150 hoopsters from DPS branches from around the country, DPS (Nacharam) defeated their opponents from Indore 47-28 while Delhi Public School (Hyderabad) proved too powerful for Delhi Public School (Jaipur), winning by a 35-10 margin.
In the semifinals, the hosts will lock horns with DPS (Bhopal) while their Hyderabad-branch counterparts will face Delhi Public School (Ahmedabad).
In another quarterfinal, Delhi Public School (Ahmedabad) ran circles around the hoopsters from Delhi Public School (Navi Mumbai), registering a comfortable 29-8 victory.
In the remaining last-eight match of the tournament, Delhi Public School (Bhopal) marched to a one-sided 32-15 victory over the Delhi Public School team from Gandhidham, Gujarat.
