Hyderabad: The fourth Telangana state Shooting competitions cum qualifying round for Pre-Nationals will be held at the SATS Shooting Ranges in Gachibowli from Sunday to Wednesday.
The competition with Air, Small Bore and Shotgun events has received entries from all the districts of telangana besides teams from Army, Police and Forest Departments.
The event will be held in 89 disciplines which includes Youth, Junior, Senior and veteran categories in both men and women’s sections.
“Athletes from Tamil Nadu, Karnataka and Kerala are also taking part in the event,” said Amit Sanghi, President of Telangana Riffle Association (TRA).
The main competition would be held on Monday and Tuesday for 10 metres.
Air-Rifle/Pistol, 25 metres Pistol and 50 metres Rifle-Pistol events and Shotgun skeet competition will take place on Monday followed by Shotgun trap on Tuesday. Shotgun double trap will be held on Wednesday.
