Telangana 'boxing' body polls on February 24

The election process will be done in the presence of Anil Bhoidar, vice-president of Boxing Federation of India.

Hyderabad: Following the Boxing Federation of India’s go-ahead for conduct of elections to the Telangana State Boxing unit, polls will be held on February 24 at the Conference Hall of Haritha Plaza, Telangana Tourism, N. Dhanajay Goud, secretary of the Telangana State Boxing Association’s adhoc body, stated in a press release on Friday.

The election process will be done in the presence of Anil Bhoidar, vice-president of Boxing Federation of India and also the Dispute Committee of which Asit Banerji (West Bengal) is the chairman and C. B. Raje of Kerala and Manje Gowda are members.

Dhananjay also said a retired judge has been appointed as Returning Officer and that a member from the Sports Authority of Telangana and another member from the Olympic Association Telangana would be requested to be present as observers.
