Coach Gopi Krishan said, "Vamshi currently has an Elo rating of 1241 points. He has to compete in two league rounds first. He has been working hard. We are positive of a good performance from him."
Collector Abhilasha Abhinav had directed the district administration to provide Vamshi with all facilities required to hone his skills. Former collector V.P. Gautham has also extended support to the youngster.
Social welfare regional coordinator Rajyalakshmi is overseeing the facilities, which include a separate room equipped with CCTV, electricity, internet, a laptop and other amenities that have been made available by the local social welfare school.
