Are Australia watching? India's toe-crusher Jasprit Bumrah hits bulls eye in nets
Bengaluru: Team India speedster Jasprit Bumrah is unarguably one of the most lethal bowlers when it comes to death bowling in the shorter format of the game. Apart from his puzzling variations and bouncers, toe-crushing yorkers are an important part of Bumrah's armoury.
On Wednesday, BCCI shared a video of the Indian bowler practising yorkers in the nets at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bangalore ahead of the 4th ODI between India and Australia.
As a part of his training, the Indian pacer was told to rattle the three stumps with his yorkers. Guess what? Bumrah completes all his three targets without any hassle.
There's no doubt that Bumrah has been a vital cog for Virat Kohli's side in the shorter formats. The Gujarat youngster was rewarded with the Man of the Series award for his thrilling displays with the ball in the ODI tour of Sri Lanka, scalping 15 wickets at an average of 11.26.
With spinners Yuzvendra Chahal and Kuldeep Yadav hogging the limelight and impressing with 13 wickets together currently, what has gone unnoticed is Bumrah's formidable partnership with his new-ball partner Bhuvneshwar Kumar.
The ruthless Men in Blue will aim to make things hard for the Australians in the 4th ODI, having taken a 3-0 unassailable lead in the 5-match ODI series.
