Even at the age of 30, Robert Lewandowski comes with a hefty price tag. Prized possession of German giants Bayern Munich, Lewandowski has itchy feet, reports the Sun.
He is flirting with the idea of playing in top-flight English football, toying with a move to the Premier League at the end of the season.
With 97 league goals in nearly four seasons at Bayern, plus another 74 in a similar time frame at Borussia Dortmund, the effective foward has done his bit in the Bundesliga.
A fresh challenge is said to excite him. English football’s top clubs will be all over him from now on.
If Lewandowski can persuade Bayern to release him from a contract that runs to 2021, the scramble will be on.
In the monied and frenzied modern era, this fellow is a must-get. There is a growing feeling this could be his last year in Germany.
