Roberto Mancini goes dancing with the stars'
Former Manchester City boss Roberto Mancini could be on the verge of a return to management. The Italian is, alongside Guus Hiddink, one of the front-runners to take over from Claudio Ranieri at Leicester. The 52-year-old seemed unfazed by the speculation surrounding his future, swapping the dugout for the ballroom during an appearance on the Italian equivalent of Dancing with the Stars.
Mancini has been out of a job since leaving Inter Milan in August 2016 and he has not managed in England since leaving Manchester City, where he won the Premier League and FA Cup during a three-and-a-half-year stay. He could be set for a return to the Premier League in the coming days, however, after Ranieri was sacked just nine months after taking Leicester to the title.
His replacement is expected to be announced in the coming days, with the chances of interim manager Craig Shakespeare dependent on Leicester's performance against Liverpool. The Foxes headed into that game in the bottom three - one point from safety - without a league win since the turn of the year.
