Tottenham and England hotshot Harry Kane is usually the bane of defenders’ lives, so it was fitting that on Sunday night he was simply Bane. The striker went to great lengths to transform himself into the Batman supervillain as he headed out to a fancy dress party after Spurs’ 2-1 win over Burnley. Kane got the hair and make-up down to a tee before putting on his Bane costume to become a dead ringer for the comic book character.
Indeed, Kane was so pleased with the results he tweeted that he could give Tom Hardy, who played Bane in the 2012 blockbuster The Dark Knight Rises, “a run for his money.” Kane posted three pictures on his Twitter account as he changed into character. One picture showed someone working on his hair with the caption: “Good to get the win today! Now getting ready for a bit of a fancy dress transformation! Can you guess who I’ll be tonight?”
