Luis Enrique officially named as Spanish football team\'s head coach
He replaces Robert Moreno, Luis Enrique’s long-time assistant, who was given the top job in June.
Mumbai: The Spanish Football Federation have confirmed that Luis Enrique has replaced Roberto Moreno as head coach of the Spanish football team.
Enrique had left the position of Spain coach in March after his terminally ill daughter passed away from bone cancer in August.
After he left the job, Moreno was left in charge of the national team. He guided the team through the Euro 2020 qualifiers and ensured that they qualify for the tournament next year.
RFEF president Luis Rubiales confirmed on Tuesday that Luis Enrique would return to his original position as head coach of the national team.
