Hyderabad: Former national footballer from Hyderabad Sheik Ahmed, 78, passed away on Monday morning. He is survived by his wife, two daughters and a son.
Sheik, who retired from South Central Railway, played for the Indian Railways side. He was also the General Secretary of Hyderabad Sporting and an EC member of the Telangana Football Association.
The Telangana Football Association conducted a condolence meeting at their office which was attended by office bearers, referees and senior football players.
