She was named after Harper Lee, the author of Victoria Beckham's favourite book, To Kill A Mockingbird. And four-year-old Harper Beckham lived up to her literary namesake as she enjoyed story time on Saturday.
Proud mother Victoria posted an adorable snap of her daughter reading a book on Instagram, with the little girl barely visible behind its giant cover. Despite her young age, Harper followed in her mum’s fashionable footsteps in a pair of patterned Adidas trainers and black leggings as she perched on the stylish black armchair.
Victoria, 41, captioned the photo: “Story time for Harper. X kisses from sunny Los Angeles X vb #proudmummy.” And the image has already received nearly 75,000 likes.
Fans also praised David and Victoria for nurturing their daughter's reading skills as she posed in the library. One said: “It’s soo good to see parents who still encourage books in our very Technical World. Well done, Mum and Dad.” Another social media user added: “Great to see she is doing some library reading! Lovely trainers Harper!”
