Imphal: Neroca FC defeated Churchill Brothers Goa 2-1 thanks to two brilliant headers from Katsumi Yusa in the 1st and 87th minute that has ended the Goan side's unbeaten run in the I-League.
Neroca have moved second in the points table with 14 points, three points shy of table toppers Chennai City FC.
A wrong clearance pass from Mohanraj from inside the box landed straight into the legs of Areyn Williams who then made a beautiful cross back into the box which was well received by Katsumi Yusa.
Katsumi made an outstanding diving header to guide the ball back into the Churchill Brothers FC Goa nets putting the hosts onto a lead in the 15th second of the game.
Neroca went on an attacking spree with the hope to double their lead. Churchill, on the other hand, played a cautious game, but slowly got their attacking flair.
