Zlatan Ibrahimovic is a footballer with pulling power — people go to games in order to watch him play, to see what tricks he has up his sleeve.
The Manchester United forward thinks he will have the same abilities even when carved out of rock, as he paid a visit to see the progress on the statue being erected in his honour.
Ibrahimovic posted a photo to Instagram of himself with the figure, and gave his approval in his usual manner.
The picture was captioned: “When you come to New York you have the Statue of Liberty, when you come to Sweden you have the Statue of Zlatan #comingsoon.”
The 2.7 metre high monument will be constructed in honour of Sweden international Ibrahimovic, outside the Friends Arena in Stockholm — the national team's stadium.
