Twitter goes berserk over Manchester United player Marouane Fellaini's comical face
Skopje: While Game of Thrones fever has taken over the world, the Game of Gruns is an equally interesting topic in football. On Tuesday, Manchester United midfielder Marouane Fellaini proved he deserved to be the poster boy of the game after was snapped with a comical gesture while heading a ball during his team’s 2-1 loss to Real Madrid in the UEFA Super Cup.
Associated Press photographer Boris Grdanoski himself must have been surprised with what appeared on his camera screen after snapping up his lens at Fellaini. The picture soon went viral right away with memes flooding over social media.
Known for his aggressive antics on the football field, the Belgian midfielder also showed his funnier side by thanking the fans who sent him his hilarious photo on Twitter.
Twitterati did not disappoint again and came up with award- worthy memes and trolls, including images of him during the game wearing a bandage on his forehead.

If you asked Fellaini to smuggle a bag of coke through an airport, this is definitely how he'd do it. pic.twitter.com/RPPROLaWDO

When you realise Man Utd paid more for Fellaini than Real Madrid paid for Toni Kroos. pic.twitter.com/XmmKSLJ4jr

While challenging Jose Mourinho for a place in Manchester United’s starting eleven may seem difficult, Marouane Fellaini should be content for putting up a tough fight with teammate Phil Jones for eccentric facial expressions.
