Gary Neville to coach Delhi Dynamos?

He will don the role of marquee manager for Delhi Dynamos in season 3.

Mumbai: In a surprising move, recently sacked Valencia manager and former Manchester United legend Gary Neville is likely to make Delhi his home for the upcoming Indian Super League. England's most-capped right-back with 85 caps will don the role of marquee manager for Delhi Dynamos in season 3.

Life has been a tedious one ever since Neville started calling the shots from the sidelines. The Englishman endured a stifling spell as manager of The Bats winning only 10 out of the 28 matches he managed. Neville was sacked only after four months into professional coaching.

The Delhi Dynamos dressing room has seen many superstar footballers don the white jersey. Last season the club saw Brazilian legend Roberto Carlos as their marquee player-cum-manager along with Chelsea veteran Florent Malouda in their ranks. Delhi also previously signed the likes of Alessandro Del Piero in the ISL’s first season.

Neville’s arrival on Indian soil for the first time will not only give impetus to Indian football but will also increasing footfall at stadiums considering the huge fan base the Red Devils have in the sub-continent.
