The FIFA Under 17 World Cup is set to kick off in India in October

Goa: Goa saw a poor response in terms of ticket sales for the upcoming FIFA Under 17 World Cup as only 200 tickets have been sold for the matches taking place at the venue.

The FIFA Under 17 World Cup is all set to kick off in India in October. The ticket sales for the FIFA Under 17 World Cup in India was launched on May 16 by former Spain and Barcelona player Carlos Puyol, exactly at 19:11 hours.

Kolkata and Guwahati has done a good job in terms of ticket sales, as more than 40,000 tickets have already been sold out in the first phase. Kochi is also making steady progress, with already more than 60 per cent of the tickets sold out.

Interestingly, the Goa venue saw such a poor sell-out of the tickets despite the fact that the lowest price available on Fifa.com is that of Rs 48.
