The off-field moment took place during RR’s clash against Punjab Kings in IPL 2026. It was captured during the RR’s chase of 223 in Mullanpur on April 28.
Responding to the incident, netizens said, “During yesterday's match, Riyan Parag was spotted vaping in the dressing room. He is a young player, and cricket fever is extremely high in this country—millions of fans must look up to him as an ideal.”
“But Riyan Parag is openly vaping in the dressing room, and vaping is banned in India anyway. Riyan Parag should focus on his performance, but he's busy blowing clouds of smoke. In this IPL season, Riyan Parag has scored just 88 runs in 8 matches,” he said.
