IPL 2026 Auction: Green Gets ₹25.2 Cr, Bishnoi to RR for ₹7.2 Cr

Earlier, a total of 1390 players registered for the IPL 2026 player auction, of which 350 were shortlisted. The pool also comprises 224 uncapped Indian players and 14 uncapped overseas players, adding significant depth and fresh talent to this year's auction roster.

Abu Dhabi: Kolkata Knight Riders splurged a record-breaking Rs 25.20 to land top Australian all-rounder Cameron Green and Rs 18 crore to acquire the services of Sri Lankan pacer Matheesha Pathirana in the Indian Premier League players' auction here on Tuesday.Uncapped Indian players were also a big hit with Uttar Pradesh's 20-year-old left-arm spinner Prashant Veer and Rajasthan's 19-year-old keeper-batter Kartik Sharma going to Chennai Super Kings for Rs 14.20 crore each.

Both became the highest paid uncapped players in the history of IPL auction after coming in at a base price of Rs 30 lakh each.
Jammu and Kashmir pacer Auqib Nabi Dar also attracted a hefty sum of Rs 8.40 crore from Delhi Capitals to be among the top gainers in the mini auction. Dar's base price was also Rs 30 lakh.
India internationals Prithvi Shaw and Sarfaraz Khan went unsold despite their good run of form with the bat. However, Sarfaraz was later bought by Chennai Super Kings for Rs 75 lakh during the accelerated auction.

    Liam Livingstone remains the headline buy at ₹13 crore for Sunrisers Hyderabad as the auction rolls on. Kyle Jamieson has been sold to Delhi Capitals for ₹2 crore, with Prithvi Shaw also joining DC for ₹75 lakh. RCB have picked up Kanishk Chouhan, Vihaan Malhotra and Vicky Ostwal, all for ₹30 lakh each. Gujarat Titans added Luke Wood for ₹75 lakh, Prithviraj Yarra for ₹30 lakh and Tom Banton for ₹2 crore. Rajasthan Royals signed Kuldeep Sen for ₹75 lakh and Adam Milne for ₹2.40 crore, while Chennai Super Kings bought Zak Foulkes for ₹75 lakh. Round 3 of the accelerated auction is underway.

    KKR have snapped up Rachin Ravindra for ₹2 crore and Akash Deep for ₹1 crore. CSK have bought Matt Henry for ₹2 crore and Sarfaraz Khan for ₹75 lakh.

    KKR signed Daksh Kamra for ₹30 lakh and Sarthak Ranjan for ₹30 lakh. SRH picked up Krains Fuletra, Praful Hinge and Amit Kumar, all for ₹30 lakh each, while Mumbai Indians bought Atharva Ankolekar for ₹30 lakh.

    Unsold: Manishankar MuraSingh, Izaz Sawariya, Jikku Bright, Ayush Vartak, Utkarsh Singh, Karan Lal, Daniel Lategan, Nathan Smith, Vishal Nishad and Chintal Gandhi.
