Sunrisers Hyderabad posted a commanding 219/6 in 20 overs, driven by Abhishek Sharma’s 74 off 28 balls and key contributions from Travis Head, Ishan Kishan, and Heinrich Klaasen, while Punjab Kings fought back with wickets but struggled to contain the scoring rate.

News Report:
Sunrisers Hyderabad delivered another high-scoring display as they reached 219/6 in their 20 overs after being put in to bat by Punjab Kings.
The innings was ignited by Abhishek Sharma, who smashed a sensational 74 off just 28 balls, striking 5 fours and 8 sixes at a breathtaking strike rate. He shared a destructive opening stand with Travis Head, who made 38 off 23 balls, before both were dismissed by Shashank Singh, who provided an unexpected breakthrough with a double strike.
Despite the early losses, SRH maintained their aggressive intent. Ishan Kishan (27 off 17) kept the momentum going before falling to Arshdeep Singh, while Heinrich Klaasen (39 off 33) anchored the middle overs, ensuring the scoring rate never dipped significantly. Contributions from Aniket Verma (18 off 9) and Salil Arora (9 off 8) helped push SRH past the 200-run mark.
Punjab Kings’ bowlers had mixed success. Arshdeep Singh (2/50) and Shashank Singh (2/20) were the pick of the attack, while Xavier Bartlett also chipped in with a wicket. However, others including Marco Jansen and Vijaykumar Vyshak were taken apart as SRH finished with a daunting total at nearly 11 runs per over.
Chasing 220, Punjab Kings now face a steep task against a powerful SRH bowling lineup.
