Watch: Cricketers in ugly fight during a BPL match
Mumbai: Bangladeshi batsman Sabbir Rahman got into an ugly on-field fight with Afghan cricketer Mohammad Shahzad during a Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) match between Rajshahi Kings and Rangpur Riders.
Rahman, who plays for Rajshahi Kings came in to bat no. 3. Before even facing a single ball, Rahman was seen exchanging words with Shahzad. The batsman was also seen lifting his bat in a threatening manner.
The situation became so heated that the on-field umpires had to intervene to calm things down.

On Wednesday, Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) levied a record fine of around $15,000 on Rahman for serious off-field disciplinary breach.
The board did not disclose the details of the charges against Rahman, but the Prothom Alo daily reported online that the cricketer had taken female guests to their hotel rooms during the ongoing BPL.
