Hyderabad: Hyderabad bowled out Associate and Affiliate for a paltry 76 in the first innings to enforce follow on and then had them down at 36/1 in the second innings by stumps on the second day of their Group ‘D’ Under-19 League match of the Cooch Behar Trophy being played at the Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium here on Tuesday.
The disjointed Associate and Affiliate team could not stand in the face of fierce bowling by Ammaar Ayub and Bhagath Varma as they demolished their batting line-up picking 4 for 16 and 3 for 25 respectively for Hyderabad.
Earlier, G. V. Vinith Reddy and K. Nithesh Reddy converted their respective centuries into massive double hundreds to put Hyderabad in a strong position to declare with the team score reading a healthy 527/3 in 135.5 overs. Vinith remained unbeaten on 230 from 402 balls and hit 28 fours and a six while Nithesh made 246 from 372 deliveries with 31 boundaries embellishing his super-strong innings.
