Hyderabad bowlers did well in their area of specialisation by bowling out Chhattisgarh for 315 on Day Four.

Hyderabad: After a sensational performance with the bat, Hyderabad bowlers did well in their area of specialisation by bowling out Chhattisgarh for 315 on Day Four and fetch three points by virtue of first innings lead in a Col. C. K. Nayudu Trophy match played at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad. Resuming at their overnight score of 138 for 3, Hyderabad batters did show some resistance but their caravan was restricted at 315 in the 155th over.

Tanay Thyagrajan (3/82) and T. Ravi Teja (3/80) shared six wickets equally for Hyderabad while A. Jayasuriya picked 2 for 71. For Chhattisgarh, Sanjeet Desai (56) and A.J. Mandal (63) scored half-centuries. Earlier for Hyderabad, P. Rohit Reddy smashed an unbeaten 124 while Tanay scored 96 against his name.

Brief scores: Hyderabad 483 in 201.4 overs drew with Chhattisgarh 315 in 154.4 overs (Sanjeet Desai 56, Md Irfan 22, A.J. Mandal 63, V.B. 41, T. Ravi Teja 3/80, Tanay Thyagrajan 3/82, A. Jayasuriya 2/71). Points: Hyderabad 3, Chhattisgarh 1.
