KPL scam: CCB sends notices to cricketers Uthappa, Vinay Kumar

Sources said the CCB sleuths have watched all the games ball-by-ball and noted down the suspicious movements of all the cricketers.

Bengaluru: The Karnataka Premier League (KPL) match-fixing scam took a major twist with Central Crime Branch (CCB) issuing notices to as many as 100 cricketers including international caps Vinay Kumar and Robin Uthappa among others.

Sources said the CCB sleuths have watched all the games ball-by-ball and noted down the suspicious movements of all the cricketers. The cops would like to seek a clarification from all the players. Phone calls made by international cricketers like Vinay Kumar, Robin Uthappa and Manish Pandey have also been scrutinised, The cricketers will now have to answer questions pertaining to the calls.
