Hyderabad's Rathan snares all four Rajasthan wickets to fall
Hyderabad: Rajasthan replied to Hyderabad’s 274 with 217 for 4 in their first innings on the second day of their Under 19 Cooch Behar Trophy cricket league match being played in Jaipur on Tuesday.
B. Rathan Teja was the top bowler for Hyderabad, taking all the four wickets to fall. He returned with figures of 4 for 49 in the 21 overs he bowled, seven of which were maiden.
Coming in at second change, Rathan provided the breakthrough Hyderabad were looking for after the Rajasthan openers Gajraj and H. K. Joshi had put on an impressive 140-run stand before being separated as Gajraj was trapped in front of the wicket by Rathan, who took two more in quick succession.
Earlier, Hyderabad, resuming at their overnight score of 255 for 7 were all out after adding 19 runs. Left-handed opener N. Thakur Tilak Varma eventually fell after making 147 that came off 310 balls and included 18 boundaries.
