Virat Kohli spotted with Vijay Mallya in England during Essex-India practice game?
Chelmsford: Team India is gearing up for a mammoth five-match Test series against England with a practice match against county cricket club Essex.
On Friday, the Indian cricket team’s official Instagram handle posted a picture of skipper Virat Kohli with a group of fans that caused an uproar on social media.
As the group members posed alongside the dashing right-hander, Kohli was seen resting his hands on a person who looks similar to Vijay Mallya, accused of fraud and money laundering and is currently on the run from India’s financial authorities.
The caption read, “They all love him here #KingKohli” but fans were clearly left puzzled about the identity of the person beneath Kohli.
