Daddy duties over celebrations: MS Dhoni plays with daughter Ziva as CSK win IPL

Mumbai: Shane Watson’s sparkling ton inspired Chennai Super Kings (CSK) with a fairytale comeback as they secured a thumping 8-wicket victory over Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) in the 2018 Indian Premier League (IPL) final on Sunday.

While the rest of the team were enjoying the celebrations and cherishing the grand trophy, CSK captain MS Dhoni had some other plans to celebrate. The veteran wicket-keeper batsman took his daughter Ziva along with him as CSK’s Yellow Army enjoyed the victorious moments.

During the team photograph later on, four-year-old Ziva ran towards her father before he twirled her around. Dhoni greeted the rest of the players on the ground as Ziva tugged along to daddy cool.

After CSK’s title triumph, Dhoni took to Instagram and posted a picture along with wife Sakshi and Ziva. “Thanks everyone for the support and Mumbai for turning yellow. Shane ‘shocking’ Watson played a shocking innings to get us through.end of a good season. Ziva doesn’t care about the trophy, wants to run on the lawn according to her wordings,” he wrote.

Before the match, Ziva was spotted playing with a lion as she geared up to support her daddy’s team in the mega-finale.
