Pune: Mahendra Singh Dhoni’s exploits with the gloves are very well known. The former Team India captain showed some amazing glove-work once again as he helped his side Rising Pune Supergiant steal Kolkata Knight Riders player Sunil Narine’s wicket out of nowhere.
KKR skipper Gautam Gambhir flicked a Washington Sundar delivery off the pads to the leg side and signalled his partner Narine for a quick single. RPS fielder Shardul Thakur sent in a throw that would have made it a bit difficult for Dhoni to whip off the bails, as he was standing between the line of the throw and the stumps. His job was made even more difficult as the Shardul’s throw was not accurate.
However, Dhoni simply used his hand to guide the ball onto the stumps, catching Narine off guard and well outside his crease.
