Col. C K Nayudu Under-23 Trophy: Hyderabad side make 183/3 on opening day

Hyderabad: Hyderabad’s K. Nitesh Reddy came good with an unbeaten 84 to as Hyderabad made 183 for 3 in the face of Chhattisgarh’s imperious bowlers on the first day of the Col. C. K. Nayudu Under-23 Trophy match being played at Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Uppal, Hyderabad.

Electing to bat, Hyderabad dished out a strong performance thanks to Nitesh, whose knock came off 269 balls and comprised 11 hits to the boundary. G. V. Vineeth Reddy and G. A. Shashidhar Reddy contributed 35 and 21 runs respectively as the home side began the match on a positive note. Chandan Sahani is batting on 25.
