My strength, my soulmate: Here's Virat Kohli's Instagram post for Anushka Sharma

New Delhi: India cricket captain Virat Kohli was conferred with the prestigious Rajiv Gandhi Khel Ratna award on Wednesday, and he had some sweet words for his wife and Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma.

Kohli, who has been rested for India’s ongoing Asia Cup campaign, took to Instagram where he shared a picture of Anushka.

“The person that inspires me to push forward despite all obstacles. The person that guides me to do the right thing in life against all odds. The person that has changed me inside out and made me realise the power of true love. My strength. My soulmate,” he captioned.

The couple got married in Tuscany, Italy in December last year.

Kohli, meanwhile, is expected to return for India’s home Test series against West Indies starting on October 4. The Caribbean side will play three Tests, five ODIs and three T20Is before the Men in Blue travel to Australia for a full-fledged series.
