Here's the schedule: CSA announce Virat Kohli-led Team India's tour to South Africa

Mumbai: Cricket South Africa (CSA) on Wednesday announced the confirmed schedule for the upcoming series between South Africa and India, to be held from December onwards.

The Virat Kohli-led India team will play a two-day warm up match, starting on December 30, which will be followed by the first Test at Cape Town from January 5. The three-match Test series will be followed by a six-match ODI series, starting on February 1. The Men in Blue will then conclude the tour with three T20s, starting on February 18, which will end on February 24.

"We are pleased to finally announce the complete schedule of international cricket starting tomorrow with the first Test match against Bangladesh," said CSA Chief Executive Haroon Lorgat.

"It is going to be a very busy home season with both India and Australia touring in the new year. This will be a big season for South Africa and a real treat for our fans,” he added.

South Africa will also be involved with double header T20 International matches between South Africa and India. Featuring both our men's and women's teams on the same day is going to be a very special occasion and most fitting for the women's game which is growing and attracting its own fans. This is now the time when none of us can wait for the action to start,” he continued.

Cricket South Africa also announced the schedule for the Indian women’s cricket team tour to South Africa. The Mithali Raj-led Indian outfit will play three ODIs and five T20s, starting with the first ODI on February 5. The India eves’ tour will also end on February 24.
