Virat Kohli, Anushka Sharma to spend Christmas holidays in Uttarakhand

Mumbai: The country has been swept off its feet with the romance between India Test captain Virat Kohli and Bollywood actor Anushka Sharma.

Recently, the two were seen in the northern state of Uttarakhand, which is famous for its picturesque tourism spots.

Kohli, who is also an ambassador for Uttarakhand tourism, was spotted at the Dehradun airport with Sharma, and reports suggest that the couple will head to Narendranagar to enjoy the festive season.

While Kohli has been featured as the captain of the ICC ODI Team of 2016, Anushka Sharma starred in ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’. The film also starred Aishwarya Rai Bachhan, Shahrukh Khan, Ranbir Kapoor, and Fawad Khan.

Uttarakhand Chief Minister Harish Rawat welcomed the celebrated couple to his state.

India have a 25-day break before the three-match ODI series. Kohli has led India to a number of victories this year, defeating West Indies, New Zealand, and England in the respective Test series.

The players (Kohli included) have gotten a well-deserved break between the long and ardurous season, as they now get ready for the England ODI and T20I series, after which they have to face Bangladesh and Australia.
