Hyderabad: Superb knocks by J. Mallikarjun and Y. Chaitanya Krishna helped the Hyderabad U-23 team to a decent total against Maharashtra on the second day of their Col. C.K Naydu Trophy Elite Group ‘C’ match being played in Pune.
Mallikarjun smashed 13 boundaries and three sixes to make 113 while Chaitanya Krishna struck eight fours and two sixes in his 95 as Hyderabad were all out for 304.
P.C. Dadhe took six wickets while conceeding 66 runs for Maharashtra, which had replied with 192 for 3 by close of play.
