Watch: MS Dhoni shows Kuldeep Yadav who is the boss after field change argument

Despite a dead rubber contest, there was a lot of excitement as fans got to see Thala take charge of the Men in Blue after 696 days.

Dubai: Stand-in skipper MS Dhoni led Team India for the 200th time as ODI captain on Tuesday in their Super Four Asia Cup 2018 match against Afghanistan.

Despite the contest being a dead rubber, there was a lot of excitement as fans got to see Thala take charge of the Men in Blue after 696 days.

While the contest ended in a tie, stump-mic captured an epic incident that showed who is the boss on the pitch. Midway during the first innings, Kuldeep Yadav requested for a change of field but Dhoni decided to stick his own plans, telling the youngster to go ahead.

The Uttar Pradesh chinaman was adamant and confronted Dhoni to implement the change of field until an epic response from the veteran wicketkeeper completely silenced Kuldeep. “Bowling karega ya bowler change karein,” stump mic caught the Jharkhand cricketer saying and Kuldeep was forced to carry on his bowling.

Dhoni also became the third cricketer behind Ricky Ponting and New Zealand’s Stephen Fleming to captain their side in 200 ODIs or more.
