Ex-wife Reham Khan fires Twitter salvo as Imran Khan sets to become Pakistan PM
London: While Imran Khan is favourite to become Pakistan Prime Minister, pipping Shahbaz Sharif and Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, his second wife Reham Khan is in no mood to shy away from taking a few digs at her ex-husband.
Reham, whose marriage with Imran lasted only for ten months, in her recently published autobiography titled ‘Reham Khan’, had claimed that Imran fathered 5 illegitimate children, some of them Indian.
Imran, meanwhile, said that marrying Reham was his biggest mistake. Reham, a former BBC journalist hit back, saying, it was her biggest mistake to marry Imran.
However, Reham, on Wednesday, upped the ante and took a few digs at the cricket-turned-politician and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman.

A figurehead of a PM who has no authority & who will be a puppet.
We need strong leadership not spineless desperate PM hopefuls. https://t.co/PKgrPLDhKf
Earlier, in one of her interviews, Reham said that Imran has no connection to real life.
“He’s the only celebrity we have in Pakistan and expects everyone to do everything,” she was quoted as saying by The Times. “I told him, ‘You’re like Rapunzel in the tower – you have no connection to real life. ’”
“He’s so narcissistic and single-minded about his goal (to become Pakistan PM) that he forgets the appropriate emotional response to things,” added Reham.
In her book, Reham had said that her ex-husband thinks he is God.
“I married him because I believed in him and his mission, but it’s all fake,” Reham said of Imran in her book.
Reham's book had made the headlines even before its release after she had reportedly disclosed her troubled relationship with Imran.
Additionally, former cricketer Wasim Akram and three others had served legal notice to Reham.
Following this, matters went from bad to worse. Reham said that she had received death threats regarding releasing her upcoming book.
"I have received death threats for releasing the book. I was also threatened to be defamed for the same. This is very depressing but I'm an optimistic person. These things don't pull me down in life," she had said, before adding, “The book is all about my life...the struggles and how I overcame it. After reading my book, many women will find a small part of themselves in it. I hope and pray that all that has happened to me should never happen to anyone. This book showcases how to conduct oneself, overcome failures and what led to my mistakes.”
