As soon as Zaheer Khan and Sagarika Ghatge announced their engagement on twitter, wishes started pouring in for the couple.
However, in their excitement, Delhi Daredevils (DD) — the side which is being captained by Zaheer — tagged wrong Sagarika and went on to congratulate Sagarika Ghose, who is a senior journalist, a broadcaster and an author, instead of Sagarika Ghatge.
“Heartiest Congratulations to our #Dilliboy @ImZaheer & @sagarikaghose. wishing this beautiful couple a spectacular life ahead! (sic),” wrote the Delhi Daredevil team. Anil Kumble too goofed up similarly.
Although DD and Kumble deleted the tweets, it was not before the screenshots of their previous tweets went viral and Sagarika Ghose replied “oops wrong Sagarika, sirs! Main do bachche ki ma hoon (sic).”
DD played it safe later on and did not tag Sagarika in their tweet. They just went ahead with “#Sagarika”. While Kumble tagged the correct Sagarika.
