MS Dhoni relives old memories, posts gully cricket video: watch
Mumbai: Despite the talks surrounding his retirement from cricket, MS Dhoni seems to be in a jovial mood, as he took to his Instagram account on Tuesday in order to share a video of gully cricket. In the post’s caption, he is reminiscing about his past and how he and his friends used to play cricket during the school days.
Posting the video, he wrote, “Wen U know what’s coming and start the camera and u get it in the nxt 1min, sorry for the bad light but it’s the lingo that’s fun trial ball, umpires decision last decision.brings back memory from school days.he wd have never accepted this ever happened if v didn’t have this video.all of us have witnessed this at some point of time in cricket.enjoy.”
Incidentally, yesterday was also the 12th year anniversary of India lifting up the inaugural ICC World T20 cup by defeating bitter rivals Pakistan in a thrilling match in South Africa.
After the 2019 ICC World Cup, Dhoni had decided to take a sabbatical from cricket to pursue his wish of serving for the Indian Army for two months. But recently, he decided to extend his break till November, which means that he will miss India’s upcoming T20I series against Bangladesh.
