Asia Cup 2018: Twitter abuzz as Pakistan journalist shows middle finger on TV; video
Lahore: While Afghanistan ended up on the losing side as Shoaib Malik held his nerve to guide his team home in a last-over thriller, a TV journalist in Pakistan let the situation get the better of him as the Sarfraz Ahmed-led unit went on to beat the spirited Afghanistan side in their Super Four clash in the Asia Cup 2018 in Abu Dhabi on last Friday.
A video posted by @SyedRezaMehdi showed that a Pakistani TV journalist flipped his middle finger, perhaps, forgetting the cameras were on and the show had gone live on air as Pakistan won the match by three wickets with three balls to spare.

The social media has been abuzz as the video has gone viral. While some of the users did not like what they saw, others pointed out that it was merely a blooper.
For God Sake its a blooper! Just read your Bio and came to know that you yourself a journalist and I hope you understand that it happens with CNN, BBC as well and take it in a funny way. No need to "RIP" this.

You don't flip the finger even in a blooper. Last I checked those news channels are PG13 by default until or otherwise mentioned explicitly. And finally that "BBC and CNN does that" reply has kind of lost its steam. What else BBC and CNN do ? they tell one sided stories of wars.

Pakistan, meanwhile, failed to repeat their Afghanistan game heroics as Rohit Sharma-led Indian side outplayed them in their next game, winning the match by nine wickets as Pakistan suffered their second successive loss against the arch-rivals in the ongoing Asia Cup.
While India have made it to the final of the tournament, Pakistan will take on Bangladesh and the winner of the same will square off against India in the summit clash on Friday in Dubai.
