Bengaluru: Rishi Bopanna scored a composed century as Combined City XI posted 347 against Moffusil XI on Day 1 of the KSCA Inter Zonal cricket tournament for U-19 here on Wednesday.

Batting first at the Alur 2 ground, Bopanna 141 (211b, 15x4, 2x6) powered Combined to a strong total on the board even as Abhilash Shetty scalped six for 35 to restrict the rivals’ charge. Bopanna and Akshay Ashok (60) shared a vital 153-run partnership off 213 balls for the third wicket.
