Hyderabad: Anshul Jaggulal, Tanmay Agarwal, Habeeb Ahmed, G. Praneeth Kumar, K. Sree Dharahas Reddy, N. Sandeep Manohar Goud and C. Durgesh were the top performers in the Hyderabad Cricket Association’s top division league matches in Hyderabad.
Anshul scored a century in R. Dayanand’s first innings in their drawn three-dayer against Jai Hanuman. The right hand batsman stuck 10 boundaries in his 105 that came off 183 balls.
Left-hander Tanmay Agarwal made a tenacious 136 that was studded with 17 boundaries and a six as Ensconse defeated Deccan Chronicle. Income Tax threw up two performers in Habeeb and Praneeth. While the former hit 123 in the second innings, the latter took 5 for 52 with his left-arm spin to corner Charminar with a day still left to play.
In another match, right-arm pacer Dharahas Reddy of EMCC took 5 for 46 to skittle out Continental for 122 in their first innings before C. Durgesh snared 5 for 114 to restrict EMCC to 284.
In the second innings, Sandeep Goud struck 130 to guide Continental to 279 for 7, a slender lead of 117 with just three wickets in hand going into the final day.
