Fakhar Zaman fall becomes Twitter meme as Pakistan batsman gets trolled
Dubai: It was an easy day on the field for Rohit Sharma-led India as his team breezed past arch-rivals Pakistan by nine wickets in their Asia Cup Super Four encounter on Sunday.
While Rohit Sharma and Shikhar Dhawan stole the show with their match-winning centuries, it was an attempted slog-sweep by Pakistan opener Fakhar Zaman that caught the attention of Twitterati.
Fakhar, facing Kuldeep Yadav, can be seen attempting a sweep shot but fell to the ground after his front foot landed on his heels.
To Fakhar’s surprise, he was given out for lbw as soon as he collapsed to the ground.
Following this, Twitterati started trolling the opening batsman.
